Kent A. Greenes is a Senior Fellow in Human Capital and Program Director at The Conference Board. He has worked internationally in a variety of executive, operations, technology and business renewal roles in the energy, engineering and consulting industries. He is recognized internationally as a thought leader in Knowledge & Change Management, and is one of a few leaders in the world to hold the role of Chief Knowledge Officer in both the public (British Petroleum) and private sectors (SAIC).
Kent started his own global consulting practice in 2006, and at the same time became the Program Director for The Conference Board Knowledge & Collaboration Council. He started The Conference Board Change & Transformation Council in 2011, and currently leads both councils. Kent’s insights and experiences have been documented in many magazines and books, and he has appeared on the Bloomberg Financial Network and several other television programs. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Knowledge Management and is a part-time instructor at the U.S. Army War College.
He holds a B.S. Degree in Geosciences from Kent State University and a M.S Degree in Geophysics from University of Arizona. He also completed the Executive Program, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
