John Kenneth Galbraith’s book, “The Age of Uncertainty,” needs to be revisited. Corporate leaders are explaining away trillions of dollars of capital on their balance sheets as the result of “too much uncertainty.” This situation is paralyzing their capital investment decision-making processes.
