THE 2018 EXCELLENCE IN NEW COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS
Winning the “Technology Innovation” award in the Nonprofit division, The Asia Foundation used new communication tactics to complete its 13th annual public opinion survey, “Afghanistan in 2017: A Survey of the Afghan People.” The goal of this initiative was to showcase the survey’s findings and reach key audiences across platforms. To successfully distribute the survey, the two remote survey teams, one in Kabul and one in San Francisco, needed to establish an efficient and effective communication method. Once the survey was conducted, numerous media and communication channels were used to disseminate the information to a wide audience.
